Why?

This picture was featured on the front page of the newspaper "Utusan Malaysia" on February 6th 2007. This picture of a newborn baby 'thrown' like a garbage, like the empty cigarette box beside it brought tears to my eyes. Who in the world could do such a horrid thing? It's an innocent baby for goodness sakes! Why? Why would a person commit such an act?

I swear, people should learn not to get pregnant if they don't want to get pregnant. Don't do the deed if you're not ready to accept the consequences. And doesn't the word contraception mean a thing? Condoms are not hard to get. Even 7/11 sells them. Abortion is also an option. And if you don't want to get an abortion and end up giving birth to the baby, give it up for adoption! Don't just throw it somewhere like it was a piece of trash. It's a living, breathing, baby. It's a PERSON. I can't even do anything even remotely horrible to a cat, let alone a human being.

I just don't get how a human being could do something like that to another human being. How could they be so cruel? How could they leave it out to die? How could they throw it out to die?

It's just a baby... Just a baby...

Flowers Anyone?

Isn't this the most adorable bouquet of flowers you've ever seen?! Well, it certainly is the most adorable bouquet of flowers I've ever seen. I got this picture off of a flower delivery service website.

Valentine's Day is coming up so it's all talks about gifts, and cards, and flowers everywhere nowadays. Lynn is happy because her boyfriend can afford to get her bouquets of flowers. He's a pilot, by the way. Lucky her. BamBam doesn't celebrate V-day. Don't know if Mimi and her boyfriend is doing anything for V-day. Lisa's boyfriend, Darian, doesn't seem to be the romantic type. At all. But then again, people can be very surprising. As for me, I have never received flowers from anyone. Ever. Not even one single stem of a roadside flower or anything of the sort. Haha. How sad.

I wonder what it's like to receive flowers from someone. Especially when it's delivered to you by the flower delivery person. Hehe. Should be a nice feeling. Maybe I'll get flowers when I graduate from university. I knew I should have attended my college graduation ceremony. Would have been a perfect chance to get flowers. Or buy them myself! Haha. Nothing wrong with treating yourself to something nice after you've accomplished something. Flowers are beautiful. I wish I could get one just like the picture above.I might not be a girly girl. But I'm still a girl :)
