A friend of mine submitted one of his musical pieces (a song) for a contest by Denim Music World. Go this link, click on Indie Artistes, and look for Ryo. His song is called "Happy Birthday". I really like it. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting this post about it. Check it out~! If you like it, VOTE for him! WoOT!

Confusing Fantasy With Reality
Today, I went out to get the mail and I felt happy. I was thinking, "I'm getting married tomorrow!"
.................
But I wasn't.
Bella Swan was getting married.
Not me.
This morning I had started reading Breaking Dawn (for the second time), and I was at the part where it was the day before the big wedding.
Yes, for a moment there I was confusing fantasy with reality.
Yes, for a moment there I actually thought of myself as Bella Swan.
Huh.
I guess that takes obsession to a whole new level.
That can't be healthy... right?
Ah, well. One can always dream. Ha-ha. Bleurgh.

Twilight Phone Themes
I made a few Twilight themes for my cellphone. Anyone is welcome to them. Enjoy! :)
Smack My Face Up!
I was out with Zuni tonight. Went all the way to PJ to pick him up coz the bum left his car keys all the way in Perlis. We had some shisha at Bangsar. We left around midnight, I think. When we got back to his house, I was already falling asleep, which was not good since I had to drive all the way back to Gombak. So Zuni was like "Take a nap first. I'll wake u up in like 2 hours." So I did.
I took a nap. And he woke me up 2 hours later. Problem was I was still sleepy. But I needed to get home coz my dad needed the car for work the next day. And then out of nowhere, and unprovoked, Zuni smacked me across the face, HARD. And when I say smack, I do mean SMACK. The whole pulling your arm back and slapping your hand across someone's face real hard that you can hear the sound of palm meeting cheek. THAT kind of smack. I was like "WTF???" and he was all like "Are you angry?" and I was like "WTF??? Of course I'm angry! You just smacked my face!!!" And you know what he said? He said "Well, at least you're awake now."
P/S That was the first time a guy has ever slapped me on my face. It hurt. Ouch.

27/11 - The Twilight Day
I saw it! I finally saw it! It came out today and I went with Lawyer Chick, Muffinman, and Lawyer Chick's colleague to watch the 6:45pm show at TGV KLCC. What did I think of the movie? I absolutely LOVED it! Everyone played their part well. I was actually surprised. Reading reviews online by fans of the Twilight books, I was actually preparing myself for a crappy low budget movie. But I was pleasantly surprised. I loved every single minute of it! It had its sweet, funny, and thrilling moments. And Edward.. the deliciousness that is Edward Cullen was portrayed to PERFECTION by Robert Pattinson. Who knew Cedric Diggory could be that smoldering hot?! Even Lawyer Chick was squealing and gushing and giggling over the drool-worthy Edward Cullen. She said she'd watch the movie all over again just for him. HAHAHAHA!
Here are my favorite parts of the movie:
1) The Cullens in the cafeteria - the scene where the Cullens were first introduced. Background music and everything was just right! Also Jessica saying "That's Jasper. He's the one who looks like he's in pain." HAHAHA!
2) First time Bella walked into Biology class and Edward looked like he just smelled something weird. Hahaha. His look was priceless!
3) Meadow scene - the whole glittering in the sunlight bit was AMAZING! It looked exactly how I imagined it when I read the book.
4) Baseball scene - Wow! Absolutely wow! Click HERE to watch the Baseball scene.
5) Prom scene - Edward Cullen in a suit and tie. Need I say more? Also the background music is "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" by Iron&Wine. They couldn't have picked a better choice :)
I only have one thing that I'd like them to improve on for the next movie. MORE ON THE CULLENS! Hehehe. Make it a 3 hour movie! Make it a 4 hour movie! I don't care! :P

Okay, so somebody recorded the baseball scene from Twilight during a screening of the movie and posted it on youtube. I saw it, and I can only say "WOW!"

Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer
Alright, so I was checking Stephanie Meyer's website the other day and I was thrilled to see that she had released a 264 page rough draft of Midnight Sun. Twilight from Edward Cullen's point of view. What more could a fan ask for, right? All those questions of what he did when he went away after that first encounter with Bella.. What his thoughts were when he watched Bella sleep.. Everything is in Midnight Sun.
Click HERE to download the partial draft of Midnight Sun.
Trust me, it is AH-MAY-ZING!

A Flaw in the Order of Phoenix Movie
Just watched Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix again. I've just realized that Lily Potter was nowhere in the Snape flashback that Harry saw, which is kind of stupid coz it is pivotal for the 7th book/movie story line. Hmmm.. wonder how they're gonna pull that one off.

Sex Food?
My sister sent me this picture the other day. She took it at a bakery in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Makes me wonder whether it was an honest mistake or a deliberate attempt at being funny on the part of the bakery owner. What do you think? Seriously, "pussy"? And not just "pussy", but "pussy chick"? Hahaha. Idiots.
P/S My sister said that the Pussy Chick Toast is actually delicious. Yummy pussy, anyone? :P

Dreaming of Edward Cullen
I didn't want to wake up this morning. I even had a shouting match with my mom while half-asleep because I didn't want to wake up. But I had to in the end, otherwise I'd have been late going to my final exam. What was the cause of my reluctance to wake up?
Edward Cullen. Yes, that's right. I am so obsessed with the Twilight saga that I've brought it into the realm of my subconscious (not that I'm complaining :P). What was so amazing about my dream? It was as if I was replaying Twilight the book in my head, but in the form of a movie. Of course, since it's based on the book, I was seeing everything through Bella's eyes. In my dream, I WAS Bella.
I want to keep on dreaming! To wake up and realize that Edward Cullen had been watching me sleep all night long... *sigh* What I wouldn't give to enter the book and be Bella Swan.
I am a dreamer... :)
P/S Notice how I keep saying Edward Cullen instead of Robert Pattinson? It's coz I'm in love with Edward Cullen, the vampire, not Robert Pattinson, the actor. Still, Robert Pattinson makes a very yummy Edward Cullen :)

Turning 24
Alright, so turning 24 is not that bad. Especially when you're having a BBQ with some of your closest friends, which is what I did for my 24th birthday. It was my first ever attempt at celebrating my birthday. And it was a success :) Zuni marinated the most awesome sirloin steaks, lamb shoulders and chicken wings. I still can't get the images of those juicy steaks out of my mind! I love Zuni's meat... (Okay, that actually sounded kinda wrong ha-ha). Almost all of my closest friends came. Lawyer Chick (duh, it was at her house), Zuni, Killa. Even busy Corporate Chick made an appearance, for which I am thankful for :)
Food was great. Presents were awesome. Thanks again guys! I loved everything I got, and that's not me trying to be nice and polite. That's me being super sincere :) Love the Skechers (yes! my very own pair of Skechers!). Love the croquet hat (is that how u spell it?). Love the books (courtesy of Mr Yummy and Killa). Love the bday cake (thank you Captain America and Michael Knight for my first ever bday cake :)... seriously, not kidding).
And the best part of all? At the end of the day, we played TWISTER! Oh.. yeaaaaah~! Twister rocks! Whoever thought up of that game is one brilliant man. We were twisting our bodies in ways that we would have thought were impossible to do, and ended up falling on our butts AND on top of each other, but we had a blast!!!! Check out the pics below!
Zuni and Killa trying to heat up the coals for the BBQ.
Some of the food we had. We should have taken pics of the rest of the food. We kinda went overboard with the chicken wings :P
Me, Scorpio Sis, The Journalist, and Lawyer Chick picnicking in the front yard.
TWISTER TIME!!!!! Killa, Lawyer Chick, Scorpio Sis, and Mr. I'm-Half-White (even though he really isn't) battling it out on the Twister mat.
Bahasa Baku Man, me, The Journalist, and Zuni. Yes, I know my butt's sticking out :P
The end of a perfect birthday. Shishaaaaaa~!

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
So, Mr. Yummy got me Twilight by Stephenie Meyer as an early birthday gift because he won't be able to make it to my birthday tomorrow. And also because I knew the movie was coming out and I didn't want to watch the movie without knowing how the book is. How was the book? I could not put it down. In fact, I finished the entire novel in one day.. the day before my big final exam. Yes, that big final exam is tonight, and yes, I still haven't studied. Anyway, the book was amazing. Nothing like Harry Potter, but still amazing. And it is my duty to be true to myself and so I will admit shamelessly that I am now in love with vampires. Well, just one vampire. One Edward Cullen. Haha. I know, I know. It's kinda sad being in love with a fictional character. But I can't help it. Lawyer Chick says it's coz vampires have been romanticized. But really, I couldn't care less. Edward Cullen is one hell of a vampire. Can someone get me a vampire for my birthday? Preferably one like Edward Cullen? Hehehe.

Check him out at 1:10. I know he's 19, but I don't care. He's still yummy! :P Oh, and of course, I love the song as well :)

Dean is Hilarious!
I watched the first episode of the 4th season of Supernatural today. Dean got me cracking up again.
Demon: Dean.. To hell and back. Aren't you a lucky duck.
Dean: That's me.
Demon: So you get to just stroll out of the pit, huh? Tell me.. What makes you so special?
Dean: I like to think it's because of my perky nipples.
HAHAHAHAHAH! I love his comebacks :)
Leech Killer!
Yes. My one week stay in Perak made me who I am today. A leech killer. MUAHAHAHAHA. I've got proof. Pictures of the leech I killed. Warning: The pictures you're about to see may be gory and not suitable for those who are easily grossed out :P
The Target: A lone leech that had taken a hold onto my dad's leg when he went fishing...
The Kill: The target screamed (silently :P) and writhed when I made my move and put salt all over it. Blood gushed out from its mouth (or what I believe to be his mouth). It was the perfect kill.
The Aftermath: The target is dead. And my dad is free to fish again. I wait in silence for my next assignment.
Aaaahhh.. Leech killing is satisfying :) Heheheh.
Aidilfitri 2008
Back from Perak! How is everyone's Aidilfitri? Mine was okay. Same old same old. Cooked. Fed people who came to visit. Visited other people's houses and got fed myself. Hehe. Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

Raja Petra Made Perez Hilton
The whole Raja Petra fiasco made it onto Perez Hilton. Check it out HERE.
A controversial Malaysian blogger named Raja Petra Kamaruddin has been detained for criticizing the Malaysian government and 'insulting' Islam.
And, as if that weren't troubling enough, the blogger is going to be locked up - without a trial - for TWO YEARS!
His wife told the media, "(Police) said my husband has been sent to Kamunting this morning and that he will remain there for two years with no trial. This is the worst news I can receive but we will keep fighting for his release."
The blogger's attorney said the government had pulled a "mean, dirty trick" by issuing the detention order the night before a scheduled court hearing on Tuesday to secure his release. "The government can now hide behind a veil of secrecy because they do not have to disclose reasons for detaining him."
God bless America.
We always give thanks for the freedom we have to speak our mind!
-Perez Hilton-
Big news indeed. God knows how much traffic Perez Hilton gets on his blog daily. I wonder what people from other countries think of Malaysia now...

Cannibalism Anyone?
Last night a bunch of us were hanging out and The Genius (being his usual self) came up with the topic of cannibalism. He said that he'd want to eat me and make a Blodyn Rendang. So then I was like "Hey, if I were a type of beef or beef dish, what would I be?" And Lawyer Chick said "Kobe Beef!" and everyone started laughing their asses off. What is Kobe Beef, you ask? See below:
Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ, Kōbe Bīfu?) refers to beef from the black Tajima-ushi breed of Wagyu cattle, raised according to strict tradition in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Kobe beef is renowned for its flavour, tenderness, and fatty well-marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as steak, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi, teppanyaki, ground hamburger patties and more. Contrary to popular belief, the cattle are not fed sake nor beer, however they are massaged and brushed for setting fur and fed on grain fodder.
-Wikipedia-
So there you have it. If I were beef, I would be a very expensive beef indeed. Hehehehe. It's nice to know I would be highly coveted among cannibals... No, wait... That's actually highly disturbing. LOL.
P/S Lawyer Chick would be lean meat, The Journalist would make excellent beef jerky, and The Guy From the Toilet Incident would make amazing Sup Tulang. Hehehehe.

Love Story - Taylor Swift
I am loving Taylor's Swift new song "Love Story". Check it out below! Don't you think the video clip AND the song is talking about a couple remembering their past life? How romantic *sigh*
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air
See the lights, See the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
And say hello
Little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real,
Don't be afraid
We'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh oh,
I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said
Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head, I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring,
And said,
Marry me Juliet you'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, you'll pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Cause we were both young when I first saw you
Today's Lesson
Today I learned that...
Diarrhea + Menstruation + Fasting = TOTAL DEHYDRATION!
Seriously, I have never felt so drained in my whole entire life! And I'm usually so full of energy! (Except for sports. I don't do sports :P) I even passed out when I got to my room. I was THAT exhausted. Drink plenty of water people! 8 glasses a day if you can!

Hairspray Dance Part 1
I'm kinda late in posting this, but here's the video from when we were practicing dancing to Hairspray's Nicest Kids In Town for UPM TESL Juniors' Welcoming Party. I think it was one of the better ones. Hahaha. As you can see, Jumat looks like she's dancing to Zapin :P Hehehe. Enjoy! I will post the actual performance once I get my hands on the video.

It Is Official
Yep. It's official. We're definitely back together now. I woke up to two texts from him on my phone.. at 5:50am. Talk about wanting something right there and then. LOL. I'm happy. As happy as I can possibly be right now. I am back together with the love of my life! Wheee~!
Of course, I know that it's still a leap of faith. But I've made my choice. I want to be with him and he wants to be with me and we are going to try make it work. You won't know unless you try, right? :)

Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" (Cover) - Frank Foks
I'm loving Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" and was browsing through youtube when I found this guy's cover of it. His name is Frank Foks and he's a Dutch singer. I love his cover of Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours". And I also love the fact that it was done in a moving car. Very spontaneous. He's amazing! Check it out!
Complicated
It's sooooo complicated! GGGRRR! Why can't things just be nice and simple? I swear, I'm gonna have at least 5 strands of gray hair by the end of next week. AAAUUURRGGGHH!!! So effing frustrating!!!!!

Cutest Thing Ever!
Rapist wanted dead or alive and the traumatized victim. LOL!
Click HERE and you'll see what I mean :)
We've Decided To...
Try and make it work. That's right people. We are getting back together. THE Ex and I are getting back together after 2 years of separation. A lot of things have changed in the past two years, but the thing that kept us apart 2 years ago is no longer an obstacle in this game of love. This is a HUGE decision for me, and I know that I'm taking a HUGE risk, but you know what they say. Life is not worth living if you're not willing to take any risks. So here I am. Taking one giant leap. Hoping (desperately, I might add) that I land safely on the other side.
P/S I should probably stop calling him THE Ex. Any suggestions for a new nickname for him?

Camp Rock Hottie
I finally watched the new Disney movie, Camp Rock. It's not bad. Not bad at all. At least Demi Lovato's singing voice isn't as annoying as Vanessa Hudgen's. Huhuhu. Not that I have anything against Vanessa. I just think her singing voice can get annoying at times. But I really like Demi Lovato's voice. The songs she sang in the movie weren't that bad either.
Anyhoo, HOTTIE ALERT!! Ladies, I present to you, JOE JONAS of the JONAS BROTHERS! He's 19 (I've got to stop falling for these young guys!) and he's yummy! Loved it when he was singing his song to her by the lake. Loved it when he sang with her at the end of the movie. SING TO ME~!
P/S Is there anyway I can go back and change the YEAR I was born in? Say.. maybe 5 years later? Hee Hee Hee
I Ran Over a PREGNANT WOMAN!
Okay, so that was a complete big exaggeration. I did not run over a pregnant woman. But I did hit a pregnant woman with my car. Damn, that just made it sound worse than it actually was. Never mind. I'll start from the beginning...
So, it was 10am on Thursday. I was late for class. To make matters worse, it was raining and my car was parked all the way over on the other end of the road. I got into my car, looked at my rear view mirror and backed out slowly. Then I heard a dull thud. I thought I'd hit a rock or something. I even checked my rear view mirror again, but there wasn't anything, so I just assumed it was a rock. I kept on backing out.
When my car was out of the parking spot, I looked forward and saw a man and a woman on the ground, their motorbike on its side. I got out of the car and said (yes, I actually said this), "Did I hit you?" and the man was like "Yes, you hit us!" Apparently the back (or side) of my car Then he started panicking and I saw that his wife was pregnant. And not just pregnant. Turned out she was 7 months pregnant .. with TWINS! So I told the guy to carry his wife to my car and I drove them to the hospital.
Ended up waiting at the hospital for a looooong time. The man was really nice. He wasn't even mad at me. He said that he was only thinking of the well-being of his wife and babies. I left the hospital around 4pm. The man said I didn't have to wait and that he'd call me and let me know if something came up. He did call later that night and said everything's fine and that his wife would be discharged the next day.
Me? I'm just thankful nothing worse had happened.
So yeah, Thursday sucked big time because:
- I got into a little accident involving my car, a motorcycle, a man, and a woman who was 7 months pregnant with twins. I said little coz I was going real slow, and my car and the guy's motorcycle wasn't dented or anything. They just fell off.
- THE Ex didn't bother coming to my rescue and I had to get help from my Yummy Friend who had to skip his class to come help me out.
- Had to go to the police station to report the accident and was forced to write down my statement in MALAY! It was horrible!
- Saw a turtle that had been ran over in the middle of the road. There was blood and turtle guts. That made me cry.
- Had to say goodbye to THE Ex..

Staying Healthy
Yes, I'm actually trying to lose weight stay healthy. Today, I walked the distance of 1km, climbed up and down 5 flights of stairs 10 times (up & down = 1 time), and did 30 sit ups. ME! Can you believe it? Hell, even I find it hard to believe myself! I'm like the laziest human being on the planet. Like I said before, if I was one of the seven deadly sins, I'd be Sloth. Ha Ha Ha. Hopefully I can keep this up (the stairs and the sit ups) 4 days a week. And you know what the weird thing is? I FEEL GOOD~! :)
Foot
Me being artistically bored. Yes, that IS my foot.
P/S Met up with my ex last night. It felt.. comfortable.. Just like old times. And not just any ex. THE ex.

Oh My God!
Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
You would not believe what just happened! There I was minding my own business checking some stuff online when I saw that His Royal Yumminess himself, Samuel Zylgwyn, was online. So I did what I usually do when I see him online. I decided to say hi, even though he has never said hi back. Or the fact that the chances of him saying hi back was like close to nothing. This is what happened...
8:23pm Ira
yooohooooo
*ira wonders if this guy will even say a simple hi*
8:25pm Samuel
hai.... :)
8:51pm Samuel is offline.
Can you believe it?! He said hi back! WHEEEEEE~! True, he went offline right after that, but I don't care. HE SAID HI BACK!!!
P/S I feel like such a teenager when it comes to His Royal Yumminess :) Hee Hee Hee
My iPod Song List - 08/08/08
1) No Air - Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown
I wish I could sing like her. And I spend almost every morning practicing. Much to the annoyance of my neighbours :)
2) Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
Another great song. Can u believe Jesse McCartney wrote this song? And yes, I've been trying (and failing miserably) to sing this song for weeks now.
3) Gejolak Kawula Muda - Club Eighties
A song from an Indonesian band that was used as the theme song for the sinetron CInta SMU. Very 80's. I usually don't like anything 80's but the beat is just so infectious!
4) Burnin' Up - Jonas Brothers
Thanks to the influence of my 17yr old sister. Not a bad tune. I don't know the lyrics to it, but it gets me energized walking to class.
5) 7 Things - Miley Cyrus
Another one of the songs of the energizer nature. And yes, I also don't know the lyrics to this song, hence the need to just bop my head up and down while I listen to it.
6) Cinta Ini Membunuhky - d'Masiv
Yes, still in love with this song :)
7) Show Me Tha Money - Petey Pablo
Step Up soundtrack. This way, I get to pretend I'm an amazing dancer in my head. Dancing with Channing Tatum hee hee hee.

RIP Dennis
Oh my f**king God!! They killed him! I can't believe they killed him! They killed all of him!! Yumminess included!! I just finished watching Inikah Cinta (the ONLY thing I watch on TV nowadays) and they just killed Dennis!! (Dennis = main male character in the drama)
But that's not the worst part. The worst part of it is me CRYING! Yes, I cried. I cried a LOT. Not because it was sad (although it was pretty sad. A tragedy, if you must), but because now I won't be able to see Samuel Zylgwyn on TV every weekday at 9pm (and Saturday and Sunday from 7-9pm) anymore! Me! Crying coz a frigging TV show ended! *runs around screaming* The world has finally come to an end!
So yeah, I cried coz my most favorite Indonesian TV character is gone. And then I cried some more coz I know 9pm in the coming weekdays is not gonna be the same again. And then I cried some more coz the story's plot has changed direction drastically. And then I cried some more coz I still haven't found out the name of the song or the artist for the drama's theme song, and therefore I won't be able to reminisce about the good old days when Dennis was still alive. And then I cried some more coz who knows when I'll see Samuel Zylgwyn on screen again. I'm gonna miss his yumminess so much :(
I want to post a pic of him here. Didn't want to intrude on his privacy by posting pics he personally took (god knows I know how that feels), so I found one online that was used in a magazine article. Not the best picture of him (it's an old pic and he's waaay yummier now), but it'll do.
RIP Dennis
Btw, I don't care if he's 4 years younger than me. He's yummy and I want him as a pet :P

Heavenly DURIAN Bliss!
So it's the Durian season now. We just went to the night market and my dad bought some Durians. I just had a taste and it is AMAZING! I honestly don't get what most foreigners don't like about Durian. The taste? Frigging awesome. The smell? Soooo good! Heheheh. My dad is disappointed that out of all his 4 kids, I'm the only one who's passionate about the fruit. My sister thinks it's coz I was born in my grandma's house surrounded by Durian trees. Hahahah. Maybe :) Oh, and I'm very disappointed with my cat. He doesn't like Durian! So unlike my previous cats who gobbles Durian up like nobody's business. DURIAN ROCKS!

Sinetron: Inikah Cinta?
The ONLY sinetron I'm loving at the moment. The guy's adorable. I don't care if he's 4 years younger than me, he's YUMMY!
Anyhoo, the theme song for this sinetron is below. It's a really good song and I'm in the midst of trying to find out the title and the singer of the song. Apparently it's a different theme song from the one they used when the sinetron was aired in Indonesia. So no one really knows who sang the song or even the title of the song. SO FRUSTRATING! AAAAUURGGHH!!!
Charlie Bit Me!
A while back my sister showed me this video. It is the cutest thing ever!
Then I decided to look it up on youtube and found these two video responses to the Charlie Bit Me video that I really like. The first one is a remake of the Charlie Bit Me video which I think is brilliant. The second video is a Charlie Bit Me song! Enjoy!

Hell Boy 2 Ringtone
For those of you who fell in love with Blue's love song in Hell Boy 2: The Golden Army, here's the ringtone:
Get this on your phone for FREE | More free ringtones
It's called "Can't Smile Without You" by Barry Manilow. Well, this is the cover version by Barry Manilow anyway. I think the original was a Carpenters song. And yes, the ringtone's free. No worries :) After all, I was the one who uploaded it.

Must-Watch Movie: Young People Fucking!
No, it's not porn. It's one of the best comedies I've ever seen! You'd think it's vulgar, from its super eyebrow raising title, but it's not. In fact, for the most part, it's kinda sweet. The story looks at the relationships of 5 couples over one sexual encounter (each). Huhuhu. Whatever you do, you HAVE to AT LEAST watch the TRAILER below! Lemme know what you think!
P/S: Guy pictured above in a scene from the movie is Andrew, my favorite character in YPF. He reminds me of a certain geeky someone :)
Title: Young People Fucking (YPF)

Another Rejection
It's over. He ended it on Tuesday. I'm heartbroken. But I'm alright. It's weird, but I think it's probably coz I've been expecting it for at least a week. You can say that I've had time to make peace with it even before it actually happened. Lawyer Chick says I should take a break from the dating scene.. That I need a breather.. I guess she's right. Take a breather, I will.
You'll always be my Panda Man, Chubz..

Swollen!
I got home late from JP's party last night. Around 4:45am. Too tired to wash my face and fell asleep with my make up on *gasp* (yes, I know). Just woke up half an hour ago. My eyes felt weird. I thought I still had "sleep" (ala.. taik mata la tu..) in them. Showered and stuff and finally realized that my eyes are were frigging swollen!! I don't know what happened. Maybe an allergic reaction to my eyeshadow or something, but they are SWOLLEN! I look like I've been stung by a bee on both eyes. Can't even open them properly! AAAUURRGGH!

Thoughts On Singapore
After a week in Singapore, this is what I think of if:
1) Waaaay too many malls. Lacking of better things to offer to tourists maybe?
2) Not a lot of halal food (which does not bode well with me since i am a food lover)
3) They don't wait until everyone's off the train before getting on. (Out of all the Asian nation, only the Japanese are known to wait till everyone's off the train before getting on. Shame on us Asians tsk tsk)
4) They have Onigiri!!! Woohoo! (Can't find any proper ones in Malaysia)
5) And loads of pretty watches on sale for $5 (Singaporean Dollar)
So... did I like Singapore? It's alright. Just not some place I'd visit again anytime soon. There are enough malls in Malaysia and I honestly don't need to see anymore malls anywhere else. Bleurgh.

Cinta Ini Membunuhku - d'Masiv
Currently addicted to this song :)
Coincidently, the song is an appropriate depiction of how I'm feeling at the moment.
Lyrics:
Kau membuat, ku berantakan.
Kau membuat, ku tak karuan.
Kau membuat, ku tak berdaya.
Kau menolak ku, acuhkan diri ku.
Bagaimana, caranya untuk,
Meruntuhkan, kerasnya hati mu.
Ku sadari, ku tak sempurna,
Ku tak seperti, yang kau inginkan.
Kau hancurkan aku dengan sikap mu,
Tak sadarkah kau telah menyakiti ku.
Lelah hati ini meyakinkan mu,
Cinta ini, membunuh ku.
Translation:
u made a mess out of me,
u made me confused
u made me vulnerable
u rejected me, ignored me
how can i soften your stubborn heart
i'm aware that i'm not perfect
i'm not the person you want me to be
you broke my heart with the way you act
don't u realize that you've hurt me
this heart is tired of trying to convince you
this love is killing me

Missing You, Panda Man
My Panda Man has gone back home. My life's a little quieter and not in a good way. I fell asleep last night hugging his pillow. It smells like him.
Couldn't sleep at all last night. Kept thinking about him. Kept missing him. We sure fought a lot. But I'd rather be fighting with him than not have him with me.
I miss you Panda Man...

Guitar Heroes Commercial
David Cook and David Archuleta of American Idol Season 7 star in the new Guitar Heroes commercial. David Cook looks great! Great Guitar Heroes performance as well. David Archuleta is cute. So obvious he's not a rocker. LOL. Notice how Cook had briefs on but Archuleta had big boxers on? Heheheh. They probably made Archuleta wear the boxers (Archuleta was probably relieved) to avoid sexual exploitation of a minor. Love them both though!
Rape Has Nothing To Do With How Women Dress
An idiot has made an idiotic statement on how the way a woman dresses affects the probability of her getting raped or not.
Thankfully, someone had a good response for it.
A guy in my uni class once did a presentation concerning the issue of rape. And he brought forth the theory that rapists are more likely to rape women with long hair. At that point, EVERY girl in the class turned to look at me. Why? Because I have long hair and I was the only one in the class who wasn’t wearing a headscarf. It got me annoyed and I retorted with “Almost all the rape victims reported in the news are women wearing headscarves. So you guys should be the ones worried, not me.”
Hasn’t anyone noticed that rape victims in Malaysia are mostly women who wear headscarves? So, that proves that what women wear has nothing to do with whether she is more likely to get raped or not. If it does, well, then, people should stop wearing headscarves since women wearing headscarves seem to be the most targetted group for rapists in Malaysia. If anyone didn’t get the tone, that was me being sarcastic. It still amazes me how ridiculously dumb and ignorant some people are.

What is Thought to be Chocolate...
Alright, so I was stuffing my face eating some Belgian chocolates that my dad had brought back from his recent trip to Belgium. These super yummy seashell chocolates with hazelnut fillings. Absolutely scrumptious. Anyway, then I saw a small piece of chocolate on the floor. I didn't want to waste anything, AND I didn't want to get the clean floor dirty, so I picked it up and popped it into my mouth. Alas! What I thought was a piece of chocolate was actually a piece of dry cat food! AAAAUUUURGGGHH!!! *splutter*gasp*spit*
Moral of this story: NEVER EAT ANYTHING OFF THE FLOOR!
P/S Kinda reminded me of the time I spilled a drop of tea on the table. Wiped it off with my finger and licked my finger with my tongue. It wasn't tea. It was MINYAK GAMAT! (ointment oil for cuts and scrapes). Worse non-food I've ever tasted. Hopefully the cat food incident will prevent more of these types of mistaken food identity :(

My First Photoshop Attempt
So I decided that with all the time I have, I might as well do something productive. Okay, that was a lie. Someone else told me that, but that's besides the point. Anyway, I decided to download Adobe Photoshop CS3 (apparently it's the newest one), and try my hand at photoshop-ing (behold, a new vocabulary). I attempted, and this is the product I ended up with:

JET Program Disappoints
So I called the Japanese Embassy in KL today and asked about the JET program. I was told that the ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) position is not offered to Malaysians. Only the CIR (Coordinator for International Relations) position is available to Malaysians. I was... devastated, to say the least. I had all my hopes up to apply to for the JET program only to be told that it wasn't offered to Malaysians. Lawyer Chick was right. They are a bit prejudiced in that sense. I guess it's not wrong to want to have native English speakers to teach you English. It still blows though. What is worse is the fact that most of the English teaching posts in Japan require you to be from one of these countries: US, UK, Canada, Australia. Basically, if you're white, you're good to go. Damn the skin politics!
I am completely lost right now. I had a plan. But that plan didn't fall through. Didn't even get a chance to execute the damn plan in the first place. So now I have no idea what I'm going to do. I still want to teach somewhere that's not in Malaysia. At least not right now. I want some international exposure first. I so want it to be Japan. I love Japan. Been there, lived there, loved it there. So what do I do? What do I do? What do I do?

Phew! On Travel Advisory for Women in Malaysia
I was so relieved to hear THIS! At least Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is doing something right. Thank you, Pak Lah!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
‘Better to issue travel advisory’
KUALA LUMPUR: The proposal for women travelling out of the country alone to show a consent letter from their employer or family cannot be implemented, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said yesterday.
He said it was impossible to introduce such a regulation because thousands of Malaysian women travelled overseas annually on official duty or otherwise.
“The proposal to obtain the consent will only create great difficulty, particularly for the Immigration authorities and also the women concerned,” he said.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim had proposed on Saturday that all women travelling out of the country alone be required to show a letter from their employer or family in a move to stop Malaysian women from being duped into becoming drug couriers.
More than 100 Malaysian women have been detained in several countries on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Abdullah said the people would be reminded to be wary of drug trafficking tactics in a move to overcome the problem of syndicates using Malaysian women as drug couriers.
“I will ask Wisma Putra and the Home Ministry to issue a travel advisory asking all Malaysian citizens to be cautious when travelling out of the country,” he said.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said it was not practical to require women wanting to travel out of the country alone to get permission to leave.
He said such a move would restrict their freedom and, as adults, they had every right to travel overseas without restriction if they were eligible to get a passport.
“I think if it’s for children, it’s all right. But they are adults, above 18, and you can’t stop them if they want to go out of the country,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby here.
Asked whether the Cabinet had discussed the proposal, Syed Hamid said it had discussed the fact that many young women had fallen victim to drug syndicates and the action taken to monitor those syndicates.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen said the ministry would request the authorities, including Wisma Putra, to furnish details of the women who had been arrested.
“The ministry also urges parents and elders to constantly remind young adults to be extremely careful when travelling,” said Dr Ng.

A Recipe for World Peace
"Muslims rock! I'm gonna kill you coz you're Jew! Oh wait, I can't kill you. You're half Muslim." *scratches head and puts gun down*
The idea is that with more and more inter-everything marriage, pretty soon everyone would be a mix of something, making everyone equal. Equal means the same. Therefore there would be no hatred towards people who are "different", as there would be no such thing. Hehe. A bit of a stretch, but hey, that could happen :)
Then the Sudanese Thinker came up with his way of achieve world peace. The recipe is as follows:
1) Another Hitler
2) Instead of poisonous gas chambers, laughing gas chambers are put to use.
3) Atomic bombs are replaced with Prozac and Xanax bombs.
We had a good fun with the discussion. I mean, hey, at least no one will get killed with the Sudanese Thinker's recipe for world peace :)

A Crazy Fool
It's been a bit over a month since we first met. And it's been less than that that we got to know each other on a personal level. But here I am, head over heels in love with him. Am I crazy? Am I rushing into it? The answer to both those questions is probably yes. Yes, I'm crazy. Crazy for him. And am I rushing into it? Yes, I am. But you know what? I really don't care. The reason it seems as if I'm rushing into this is the fact that my head has never been this clear. I know exactly who I want. Him. I know exactly what I want. To be with him. I guess I'm just a crazy fool :)
Sometimes I do wonder if I would regret all of this, should things not go the way I plan. I usually do. That's the reason I don't keep anymore diaries. Every time I look back on my diary entries regarding crushes and boyfriends.. I just feel stupid. I think "What the hell was I thinking? I couldn't have been in love with him!" Would I feel the same way about him if things didn't go well and I should read back upon this entry in the future? No. The answer is no. And I am 100% sure of that. I love him and that's that. I have never been more sure of anything in my life.
Estoy enamorada de ti...
P/S: Reason for my torturous ulcer experience was a TESCO toothpaste. Apparently I'm allergic to cheap toothpaste. Bah!

Amazing Discovery
Spicy food (real spicy! Lots and lots of CHILLI!) and smoking shisha! I'm not kidding!
Went out for shisha last night and I feel a WHOLE LOT BETTER! Hail Shisha!
